The next time you feel like God can’t use you,
just remember………..Noah was a drunk
Abraham was too old
Isaac was a daydreamer
Jacob was a liar
Leah was ugly
Joseph was abused
Moses had a stuttering problem
Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Naomi was a widow
Job went bankrupt
John the Baptist ate bugs
Peter denied Christ
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
Martha worried about everything
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
Zaccheus was too small
Paul was too religious
Timothy had an ulcer
…AND
Lazarus was dead!Now, no more excuses.
God can use you to your full potential.
Besides you aren’t the message,
You are just the messenger.
Let me explain. As I was driving home from church tonight I had a really random thought. I’m like a car. We are like cars. I don’t know about you but when I drive the car becomes and extension of me. I control the car and the car does what I want it to. Nobody else has any say in what the my car…

For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.
This is so cool.
I need prayer for my addicted and a friend of mines addicted.
I need prayer tonight dealing with these uncomfortable feelings after I ate. My ED is getting the best of me.
Wow I was literally just thinking that a tumblr prayer chain would be a really cool idea… Anyway, I just need prayer for our Kenya mission trip team, that everything would go smoothly in our fundraising efforts and that God would do amazing things while we’re there. :)
I would ask for prayer about the current state of my mom’s alcohol addiction.
